Flight School International (FSI) is a fast
growing school that offers specialized quality education to those
who aspires to be airmen. It is a non-stock, non-profit corporation
duly recognized by the Philippine Government, registered with the
Securities and Exchange Commission under SEC Registration No.
A199919104. It is owned and managed by Crisolita S. Rebusi-Navarro,
a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering graduate and an
experienced Air Traffic Controller. The nature of business in which
it is specifically involved is aviation education.
The school opened on December, 1999 with only five (5) pilot
students. Enrollees increased each trimester which led to the
opening of other aviation related courses. Having proven itself in
terms of quality aviation education, FSI has gained momentum over
leading aviation schools evidenced by the influx of transferees and
freshmen students every academic year. Within the short span of its
operation, FSI has already acquired a training aircraft, and prides
of its hands-on owner and faculty members who exude expertise in
their respective field of competence.
In terms of technical recognition, the School has a Certificate of
TVET (Technical Vocational Education Training) Program Registration
No. NTRO213050124 issued by the Technical Education and Skills
Development Authority (TESDA-NCR), and is authorized to offer the
20-Months Aircraft Maintenance Technology Course.
As an Aviation School, Flight School International is governed by
the rules and policies of the Air Transportation Office, a
government agency under the Department of Transportation and
Communication. In line with the conduct of its approved and legal
operations, the School is granted by ATO Air Agency Certificate No.
2000-06, and is hereby authorized to operate as an Aircraft
Maintenance School with ratings on Airframe and Powerplant, and
Avionics. Under Air Agency Certificate No. 2000-01 issued by ATO,
the School has been recognized as an approved and authorized Pilot
School with the following Pilot Training Ratings: Basic Ground
Course, Primary Flying Course, Advanced Ground Course, and
Commercial Flying Course on Fixed Wing Aircrafts.
Being a Tertiary Level Education Institution, FSI is granted
Government Permit (CHED-NCR) No. C-130, Series of 2005, authorizing
said institution to open and conduct First , Second and Third Year
Levels of the course under the Program Bachelor of Science in
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, effective Academic Year 2005-2006.
Full government recognition is due by June 2007.
